We’ll have breakfast at the hotel and then proceed to Knuckles Range for our trek.  A few highlights of the area are the Sera Ella and Bambarakiri Ella waterfalls which are ideal spots for a dip in the crystal-clear water.  The trek to Riverston Peak offers incredible views of the central hills and the lush rice paddy fields.  A stop at the “Mini Worlds End” is a must but it isn’t for the faint of heart as it has a sheer 300 m. drop!

Today, we’ll board a train to Nuwara Eliya after breakfast at the hotel.  This scenic train journey winds through the rolling green tea fields and mountains.  When we arrive in Nuwara Eliya, it will be no surprise why it has earned the name “Little England.”  This town was a popular retreat for the British during the colonial times and it’s filled with English country style houses and lawns filled with topiary and roses.  In the evening, you’ll have free time to explore this quaint town.
