DAY 1 (May 9): Copenhagen

DAY 2 (May 10): Copenhagen

We’ll start the day getting our bearings with a walking tour around the inner city of Copenhagen.  We’ll learn about the incredible history and architecture in the spot that hosts the local bars, restaurants, cafes, and shops where all of Copenhagen meets each other. After lunch, we’ll continue our tour around the city on Copenhagen’s main mode of transportation – bikes.  But as this is a beer tour we decided to forgo the typical bike and instead go for a beer bike.  This way, we can get a different perspective of the city while also enjoying a few brews.

DAY 3 (May 11): Copenhagen

In the late morning, we’ll walk over to the event that ends all beer events, The Mikkeller Beer Celebration.   With breweries from all over the world serving their rarest and craziest beer all in one spot, this celebration is a beer lovers paradise.  What’s even better is that with admission you get to try them all, well as many as you can in one session.  We’ll cheers to that!

DAY 4 (May 12): copenhagen

After yesterday’s celebrations, we’ll take a break from beer, for now at least, with an inside look at the industry that makes Copenhagen buzz to life – bees.  We’ll get to meet the bees, taste their honey, and learn about the rise and impact of urban beekeeping from ByBi, a local social-economic company who focuses on social projects in the area.  We hope you’ve recovered by the afternoon because we’ll be taking a tour of a local brewery which produces craft beers, tonics, and cocktails in a brewhouse that has 13 fermentation tanks and 3 bright beer tanks.  This tour will of course end with a tasting!

DAY 5 (may 13): Copenhagen – Stockholm

Today, we’ll leave Copenhagen and drive to Stockholm with a stop en route at Abro Brewery for a tour and tasting, because why not?

DAY 6 (May 14): Stockholm

For our first day in Stockholm, we’ll visit, tour, and taste beers at New Carnegie Brewery. Nya Carnegiebryggeriet (New Carnegie Brewery) is a shining example of how far the development of beer and brewing culture has come around the world. Built on Swedish soil with American influences, the lineup features five year-round beers, two seasonal releases and several special limited run experiments.

DAY 7 (May 15): Stockholm

Today we’ll take a break from beer and focus on the food world that runs through Stockholm.  This guided walk with give us that perfect opportunity to explore some of Sweden’s best food as we taste delicious samples from both classic and modern establishments.  Not only will we have had a full meal by the end, but we’ll also learn about the history and culture surrounding this industry.

DAY 8 (may 16): Stockholm

Did someone say beer o’ clock? We’ll walk through the winding alleyways of the Old Town, where beer has flowed for centuries, to meet our guide for our Stockholm craft beer tour, a certified Swedish beer judge.  They’ll take us on a beer tasting adventure to three different bars in the Old Town where we’ll try out some of the best craft beers Sweden has to offer.  We’ll also hear about how beer went from being Sweden’s number one drink to being banned for over thirty years!

  • This is a standard tour.  This tour is geared towards travelers of all ages looking to explore the beer scene of Copenhagen and Sweden. Our accommodations are centrally located to make it easy to explore these bustling cities.  If that’s what you’re looking for, this tour will be perfect for you!

  • Our trips are priced based on double accommodations.  You can share a room with a significant other, friend, or whoever else, but unless you pay for a single supplement you must be comfortable sharing a room.  If you are traveling solo and choose to forgo the single supplement, you will be placed in a room with another solo traveler of the same gender.

  • The cost of the trip is $3,995 per person sharing a room if you book before 1/5/19 with the promo code DC200.  If you book after 1/5/19 the cost of the trip is $4,195 per person sharing a room.  If you’re traveling solo and would like to guarantee your own room for the duration of the trip the additional cost is $995.  Please note that there are limited single rooms available.  To guarantee your reservation, you must make a 25% deposit per person.  The 25% deposit is non-refundable and final payment is due no later than 90 days prior to departure.  We ask that you make the deposit payment by credit card, but if you choose to make additional payments by check please let our team know at  Please read our Terms & Conditions for more information about our cancellation policy.

    When you book your trip, you’ll receive an email with your order details where your order status will appear as “pending supplier”.  In most cases, your spot will be confirmed about 24 hours after booking. In cases where the trip hasn’t reached the minimum number of bookings required for confirmation, your pending status can last longer. While we typically notify much sooner, you’ll get notified on whether your spot on the trip is confirmed or not at least 60 days prior to your trip.  Your down payment is refundable until your reservation is confirmed, but we recommend waiting to book your flight until we send you your trip confirmation notice.
