      HIGHLIGHTS OF SOUTH AFRICA

      February 16-25th, 2018

We’ll begin by driving through the dramatic landscapes on the Panorama Route to our lodge within the Karongwe Private Game Reserve, one of the best locations to spot Africa’s most elusive large cat- the leopard, and here is where we will do 2 of our 3 game drives! Then, we’ll explore Cape Town, ranked #4 best city in the world by Travel + Leisure, and the surrounding area starting with a unique guided tour of Robben Island by an ex-political prisoner. Next, we will make a few stops along one of the region’s most spectacular mountain and marine drives, Chapman’s Peak Drive, starting at Boulders Beach, the home of an African penguin colony and ending at the unbelievable Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. We’ll finish the tour by spending a day tasting exquisite local wines and food in South Africa’s wine country!
